Serikbol Kondybay was an outstanding Kazakh scholar, researcher, ethnographer, writer, and mythologist who made a significant impact on the scientific and cultural life of Kazakhstan. A graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), he dedicated his life to studying mythology, history, and the cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, making an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakh science.
We are proud to announce that on February 17, 2025, Berik Uali was appointed as the Akim of Abai Region. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This significant personnel decision marks a new stage in the region's development.
