By decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aibek Zheksenaliyevich Sydykov has been appointed as the Vice Minister of Culture and Information, as reported by the Government's press service.

Aibek Sydykov was born in 1983 in Almaty and is a graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

He began his professional career in 2006 as a tour guide at the KHKP «Almaty City History Museum».

From 2007 to 2015, he worked as a researcher, deputy director, and later the director of the KHKP «Almaty City History Museum».

In 2015-2016, he served as the director of the KHKP "Association of Museums of Almaty".

From 2016 to 2022, he held positions as head of the museum department and deputy director of the RGKP «State Museum 'Center for the Rapprochement of Cultures'».

Since 2022, he has worked as the deputy director of the GRKP "National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan" under the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
