SDG-17: Students Met with the Deputy Akim of the West Kazakhstan Region

On January 30, our university hosted a meeting between 3rd- and 4th-year students, as well as master's students, and the Deputy Akim of the West Kazakhstan Region, Qairzhan Mendigaliev. The main goal of the meeting was to provide young people with information about employment opportunities, professional development, and career growth.

The main goal of the meeting was to provide young people with information about employment opportunities, professional development, and career growth.

 

During the discussion, several key topics were addressed:

  1. Employment Opportunities:
    Qairzhan Mendigaliev spoke about the labor market situation in the region, highlighting in-demand professions and key pathways for graduates to secure jobs. He also emphasized the importance of acquiring relevant skills for successful employment.

  2. Professional Development Perspectives:
    The Deputy Akim stressed the significance of continuous learning, encouraging students to enhance their knowledge through additional courses and training programs. He noted that staying competitive in the job market requires ongoing personal and professional growth.

  3. Career Growth in the Region:
    During the meeting, the Deputy Akim shared strategies for career advancement in the region. He urged young people to set clear goals and take proactive steps toward achieving them.

At the end of the session, students and master's candidates expressed their gratitude to Qairzhan Mendigaliev for his attention to youth issues and for sharing valuable insights and practical advice.
