On May 27, 2025, the International Center for the Rapprochement of Cultures under the auspices of UNESCO will organize the 7th International Conference in Support of the Culture of Knowledge on the theme “The Birth of Turkic Slavic Studies”, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the book by the poet and public figure Olzhas Suleimenov “Az i Ya”.

Serikbol Kondybay – The Pride of KazNU

Serikbol Kondybay was an outstanding Kazakh scholar, researcher, ethnographer, writer, and mythologist who made a significant impact on the scientific and cultural life of Kazakhstan. A graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), he dedicated his life to studying mythology, history, and the cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, making an invaluable contribution to the development of Kazakh science.

 

Berik Uali Appointed as Akim of Abai Region
