On January 5, 2025, by the Decree of the Head of State, Zhenis Askar Zhenisuly was appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Zhenis Askar Zhenisuly graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 1996 with a degree in Oriental Studies.

His appointment aims to strengthen diplomatic and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Egypt. Egypt is an important partner of Kazakhstan in trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.
