The Alumni Association is proud to announce that the Rector of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Mr. Zhanseit Kanseituly Tuymebayev, and the university’s faculty and students have received a congratulatory letter from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation, Mr. Dauren Askerbekovich Abayev, on the occasion of the university's 90th anniversary.

In his letter, Mr. Abayev highlighted the significant contribution of the university to the training of highly qualified professionals who successfully realize their potential not only in Kazakhstan but also globally. He emphasized that KazNU has become a leading educational institution, contributing to the advancement of science and education, and expressed pride in being a graduate of this prestigious university.

The ambassador also recognized KazNU’s pivotal role as the first foreign higher education institution to open a branch in Russia, marking a significant milestone in strengthening international cooperation.
