Historians have celebrated the 40th anniversary of the end of the KazGU

     Graduates of the Faculty of History in 1976 from Kyrgyzstan, Astana, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Shymkent, Zhezkazgan, Almaty, Zhambyl, Almaty and South Kazakhstan regions participated on the day of graduates of KazNU. Forty years ago, we received certificates and public distribution on specialties. Russian team almost at full strength periodically held meetings in Almaty.

       As before, on 28 May 2016, all of us was warm, comfortable and happy to meet with each other. Each of us felt the unforgettable feeling - to become again home university student, to go through the local corridors, to remember the first love, about friends, about the first exams passed. Once again, we felt an experience of deep sense of gratitude to his alma mater!

    The organizing committee found me through Holland! Recently changed phone numbers in the Chui region of Kyrgyzstan. Here I live and teach in the school. How much was the happines in my family, when is also graduate of the Kazakh State University came to the familiar, incidentally, and said that he searching for students from Kazakhstan. A day later there was a call from Almaty.

      I, like my other fellow students admired by KazGUGrad, where we lived in a dormitory on the fifth year. New housing, library, House of Young Scientists, the purity and beauty - flowers, manicured lawns, banners - this was our KazGUGrad. Pleased and present graduates - a monument to our rector Umirbek Arislanovich Dzholdasbekov. It was his signature is on our diplomas.

       The film “Starship year of KazNU” has filled our hearts with pride in the achievements of the University, its students and teachers! This is what we said at the festive evening dastarkhan. We remembered teachers, a moment of silence commemorated and their fellow students. They told about their professional activities, sang 70s and modern Kazakh, Russian, Kyrgyz and German. We watched a film about a fellow student Nurbolat Masanov.

         We have presented the fundamental monographs and encyclopedia to new Al-Farabi Kazakh  National University Library, established for applicants 2016 720000 tenge scholarship. On our behalf, it will be awarded on 1 September. From our course Khangeldy Abzhanov made a speech- doctor of historical sciences, professor, corresponding member of National Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology named C.C. Valikhanov. Generous gifts of patrons were given to the Executive Director of the Alumni Association, our classmate, candidate of historical sciences Kulgazire Baltabaeva.

        Our Alma Mater has given a great start in his great life every graduate!
