      The well-known representative of the Kazakh linguistics and Turkic languages, doctor of philological sciences, Professor Musaev Kenesbay Musauly born March 24, 1931 in the village Karatal Sozak district of South Kazakhstan region.
      In 1944, after the end of the six classes, he goes to the teacher training college of Turkestan, which, finished a cum laude in 1947. Future turkologist its way into science started to attend lectures at the Faculty of Philology of the Kazakh State University. In 1952 he received a degree in "Kazakh language and literature".
      In 1952 Kenesbay Musauly thanks to its fundamental knowledge and skills entered the graduate school of the Institute of Linguistics of the Academy of Sciences (Moscow). Then working as a junior researcher in the section of the Turkic languages ​​of the Institute. It worked then known domestic türkologists: A.M.Kononov, V.Baskakov, S.E. Malov, I.A.Batmanov, E.Nadzhip, G.Sanzhiev, including the best talented researchers until 1956 was K .M.Musaev.
      1957 he defended his thesis on "a combination of verbal and nominal forms in the modern Kazakh language". The basis of the scientific research were put complex morphology of the language areas in terms of their verbal-nominal combinations.
      1968 doctoral thesis he "stroy the Karaim language" was protected. He worked in the Ural-Altaic languages ​​of the Institute of Linguistics in Moscow, a senior research fellow. In 1963 the band released its work "The Grammar of the Karaim language", summarizing the phonetics and morphology.
      Musaev dealt with problems of general linguistics, literary translation, folklore, terminology, Turkic studies, sociolinguistics. He spent some 300 scientific papers. He gathered information about the languages ​​of the Karaites Kipchak language group in Lithuania and Ukraine, held a multi-faceted comparative analysis compares trakaiskih Galitseisky and dialects.
      Under his leadership were defended 24 candidate (Moscow, Russia, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Bashkortostan, Karachay-Bulgaria, Kalmykia, Khakassia and Kazakhstan) and 7 doctoral theses on problems of Turkic and Kazakh language. Every year, he lectured at leading universities of Germany, Hungary, India, Finland, Turkey, Spain, the USA, Norway, Mongolia, Czech Republic. In Finland, it was published in a book with detailed specification of the Kazakh language.
      From 1958 to 1994 K. Musaev lectured at the Institute of Literature. Gorky in Moscow at the Department of literary translation in the Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, Tatar, Karakalpak, Altai and Khakass language. In 1972 he received the honorary title of professor. 1988 he was elected an honorary member of the society "Turkic languages" in Turkey.
      Taking into account the work and merits Kenesbai Musaev in Turkic studies, he was awarded the honorary title of Professor of the International Kazakh-Turkish University Yassaui (Turkestan). Since 1997, he has lectured as a professor at the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Moscow State University.


      Realizing the need for unification of the Kazakh foreign cultural centers into a single center, it took the 1990 guide to the organization of society "Kazakh language" in Moscow. He opened special courses for Kazakhs who do not know the native language. As head of this organization, he in 1997, is one of the founders of the regional center of Kazakh culture and led his five years. He wrote textbooks and manuals "Grammar Karaim language (phonetics, morphology)", "Comparative form of Turkic languages ​​vocabulary", "alphabets of the languages ​​of the USSR." All these works were written during his years of work in the center of Turkology Institute of Linguistics in the city of Moscow.
Examined in historical and comparative manner Kipchak language group, Musayev Kenesbay has published nearly 100 articles on the alphabet, vocabulary and spelling. In 1975 he published a monograph "The vocabulary of Turkic languages", which summarized the lexical peculiarity of Turkic languages.
     
In 2003 K.M.Musaev for his enormous contribution to the development of the Kazakh language was co-opted as a full member (academician) of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Became known in the scientific community for his work in the field of Turkic languages, he K.Musaev became an honorary member of the society "Turkic" Excellence in Education of the Kyrgyz Republic (1991), honored worker of science of the Russian Federation, the winner of the Prize. Abdul Aziz Saud Al-Baptina (1997, Kuwait). He was awarded medals of Kazakh SSR.
