The Alumni Association of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is proud to announce the new significant appointment of its graduate, experienced diplomat Timur Vladimirovich Primbetov.

On November 15, 2024, by the decree of the Head of State, Timur Vladimirovich Primbetov was appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Holy See, as well as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes, and of Malta, concurrently. Prior to this, he held the position of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Mexican States (Akorda, 2024).

Timur Vladimirovich Primbetov, a 1996 graduate of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, has built an extensive career in diplomacy. His vast knowledge and experience play a pivotal role in strengthening Kazakhstan’s international relations.

The Alumni Association of KazNU expresses confidence in his success in this new diplomatic mission and wishes him a productive and fruitful tenure.
