The Faculty of Physics and Technology proposes the candidacy Sakhiev Sayabek to the Presidium

The Faculty of Physics and Technology proposes the candidacy of the Director General of the INP Sakhiev Sayabek Kuanyshbekovich to the Presidium of the KazNU Alumni Association.

 

Sahiyev Sayabek is a research specialist in the field of inertial magnetic fusion based on high-current Z-pinch combined with a powerful femtosecond laser. For further in-depth interdisciplinary research at the boundary of plasma physics, laser and nuclear physics, and shock wave physics, under his leadership, the INP established close contacts with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN, Geneva), the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna, Russia), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), the Laue-Langevin Institute (Grenoble France), the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (Sicily, Italy), the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk), the Research Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, etc.

90 scientific works were published in the publishing house. Author 8 teachers, 5 from NIH ("quantum mechanics"," Nuclear Physics and physics of elementary particles"," fundamentals of Vector and Tensor analysis") are published in Mon RK. He prepared a candidate of science (2005) and two PhD Doctors (2016 and 2019), as well as a scientific leader of PhD students and undergraduates on the specialty "nuclear physics".

Experience of work in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the central executive body in the field of education and science. Active participation was taken in the development of state educational programs for 2000-2004 and 2005-2010, legislative acts in the field of education and science.

The state award - Medal "Eren enbegi ushin" (2012), Jubilee medals "10 years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2005), "10 years of Astana" (2008), "20 years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2011), blessings of the first president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Nur Otan Party A. Nazarbayeva, awarded by the NCE "Nur Otan" "for active service" (2010).

In 1992, he graduated with honors (average score – 5.00) from the Physics Department of the Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University (KazNU) with a degree in Physics. In 1995 he completed full-time postgraduate studies at our university, from November 1995 to February 2000 he worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Theoretical Physics at KazNU.

From February 2000 to June 2004, he held the positions of chief specialist, head of the hotel, Deputy Head of the Department and Head of the Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From June to December 2004, he held the position of Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from January to July 2005 - Head of the Department of Personnel and Organizational Work of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From July 2005 to July 2013, he headed various structural divisions of the Central Office of the People's Democratic Party "Nur Otan".

From July 2013 to September 2015, he was the President of the KAZITU Scientific and Educational Institution. From September 2015 to September 2016, he was the General Director of the IAF Hydraulic Fracturing Plant of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From September 2016 to September 2017, the President of the KAZITU Scientific and Educational Institution. From September 2017 to November 2020, he worked as Director of the Department of Science, and from November 2020 to August 2021 – Vice-rector for Research and Digitalization of the Abai Kazakh National University. Since August 2021, he has been the Director of the Agrotechnological Hub of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.

Thanks to his support, a new specialty “Nuclear Engineering” was organized in the Treasury. Preparations are underway for the opening of the specialty “Hydrogen energy". His inclusion in the Presidium of the Association will expand and deepen the cooperation of our university with one of the leading scientific centers of Kazakhstan and strengthen its position in the field of personnel training for the nuclear sector, especially in light of the upcoming construction of nuclear power plants in Kazakhstan.
