      State and public figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The first female ambassador in the history of our country, the first Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations, has the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in 1993. Doctor of Historical Sciences, is fluent in English and French.
      She was born May 12, 1948 in Alma-Ata. She graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Kazakh State University named after SM Kirov (1971) and graduate (1974).
      In 1978-1983 gg. - Head of Department, Secretary of the Central Committee of Youth of Kazakhstan. From 1983 to 1989 he worked as deputy chairman, chairman of the Presidium of the Kazakh Society of Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries.       Akmaral Arystanbekova is not only an outstanding diplomat, the first woman to represent Kazakhstan at the international level, but also a versatile scholar, versed in matters of chemistry and catalysis, and the problems of history, diplomacy, international law, political science. She is the author of four books on international relations and world politics, dozens of scientific papers published in leading international and national publications.
