I.K. Timerbaev is a graduate of the Faculty of Geography of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.  Over the years, I.K. Timerbaev held the position of chief economist; chief project engineer, deputy director in the field of urban planning and economics.

Currently he is the director of LLP Design Institute "Kazgiprograd" 1. I.K. Temerbaev takes an active part in the life of the faculty, participating in all significant events of the faculty. “LLP Design Institute “Kazgiprograd” 1” is a scientific base for internships and scientific work for bachelors, masters and doctoral students of the faculty.
