The Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences has published a collective monograph "Eastern Branches of the Russian Diaspora". This is a continuation of the traditional series of collective monographs. Now researchers can familiarize themselves with the contents of the sixth volume.

Daria Sergeevna Panarina, the head of the Laboratory studying Russian diaspora in Eastern countries in the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Researcher at the Center for Southeast Asia, Australia and Oceania of this Institute conducted extensive coordination work with the authors and edited the texts of scientists at a high professional level.

This prestigious publication is preliminarily passed through the Anti-Plagiarism system, approved at a meeting of the RISO (Editorial and Publishing Council), receives the stamp of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is added to the e-library, indexed in the RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index) and is a striking indicator of the research partnership of scientists from foreign countries.

So, the author of the collective monograph is Kulgazira Baltabayeva, Executive Director of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Alumni Association, Candidate of Historical Sciences. Together with Natalia Ablazh, Doctor of Historical Sciences from the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk), she prepared an article on the mass repatriation of Kazakhs in the second half of the 1950s - early 1960s from Xinjiang to the Kazakh SSR based on materials from the archives of Russia and Kazakhstan.

By the way, the Institute of Oriental Studies intends to expand the subject of the publication: now you can write not only about the Russian diaspora / migrants / compatriots in the countries of the East, but also about representatives of Oriental peoples who emigrated to other countries of the world, including Russia.
